Escalade Ac issue

Cadillac Escalade Ac blower wires very hot. Blower turns on and off at random. Recently the High setting stopped working. Need a new blower???

If the wires between the blower speed processor and the blower are getting hot, the blower may be pulling too many amps. The only way to validate it would be with an inductive amp clamp. It seems to me that anything over 25 amps after run-up is excessive. If you are into replacement, I would replace the blower and speed processor.
