Have not attempted something like this in many years. I need to put my new serpentine belt on.... What exactly is involved with this? Will I have to loosen some things ...slide it on and then retighten or is there more to it? All info is appreciated! Thanks in Advance!!!

Really the main difference on newer cars is just that they have an automatic tensioner so there is no tightening involved. You need to use a socket and ratchet (they also sell a special tool that is just for this job at most auto parts stores) and use them to take the tension off of the tensioner pulley. There should be a belt diagram somewhere under the hood that you can use to route the new belt. Then just use the ratchet and socket on the tensioner bolt to re-rension the tensioner so you can slip the belt on.
