2000 Cadillac Deville Changing Rear Caliper Bottom Bolt Came Right Off Now

changing a rear caliper, bottom bolt came right off now it rotates on the top bolt to change pads but that bolt has a cap on it which we removed but that bolt is recessed in, is that the bolt that needs to come off to remove caliper? do you need a special tool or does that come off another way?? please help and thank you ...

the bolt you speak of with a cap should actually be a pin that the caliper slides on and you should be able to rotate it far enough to simply slide it out .
