When the weather started getting cold, I would go out in the morning , start the car, and after a few seconds, the battery light would come on and a message pops up and says "battery not charging" and another one would say "check charging system". I would drive about a mile and all messages went away. Today, same thing, but after driving a mile, the headlights were really dim and dashboard lights went out, so I turned around and came home. Battery or alternator problem?
