The blower on my 2000 Buick Century is not working (blowing no air at all.) When I turn the dial from "Defroster" to "Max" or "Vent" or anything it makes a slight hissing noise. I checked all of the fuses and they are OK. Do I need to replace the blower motor? is there anything I can do to see if the blower motor is actually the problem before replacing it?
Thanks,
Scott

With key and hvac turned on, you can check voltage and ground at the blower motor connector. B terminal should be voltage, A terminal should be ground. You can also check for hvac trouble codes, see if anything shows-up? Any applicable fuses, not only check fuse, check for voltage at the fuse circuit. Sometimes it's hard to tell by looking if continuity between fuse legs.
