When trying to fill the car with gas it continually shuts the nozzle off. Sometimes if I can get the fuel pump nozzle to slowly add gas it will work but for the most part I have to fill up by continuing to pull the nozzle handle, pull the nozzle handle, pull the nozzle handle, pull the nozzle handle, until the tank is full.

Do you always fill-up at the same place, try a different pump. Could be something wrong with evap system? Any applicable trouble codes? Some of the national brand autostores used to check codes for free.

I have the same problem at any station I try to fill up at. It takes forever to fill up the car. I can't find any obstructions in the fuel pipe leading to the fuel tank either. No codes available car runs fine. I just can't seem to fill it up with gas as you would with another car.

The air in the tank, has to go somewhere, or you can't fill it. That is why I mentioned the evap system.

Your not trying to fill tank with engine running? You need to turn off the engine.
