my buick is missing and the check engine light is coming on mainly when it gets hot outside or the engine gets warm when it is cold outside the car runs fine.

I need you to have the computer scanned so we know what trouble codes are stored in the computer. Try to have this done when the check engine light is on.

NOTE: Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free.
