starter is not responding at all

BMW 540i 2000 Aut -battery discharged and was starting engine -didnt but cranked a little so i charged battery good and when tried to start no respond from starter at all -this model has convenient start just turn key

i would check the wire at the starter for power with the key in the command position. it may be a failed starter motor.
