I am experiencing lack of power in my 330ci ,I did the head and I have replaced plugs, MAF sensor , fuel pump, fuel filter , oil filter , oil , intake boots , all compression is great and yet it seems to have intermittent power loss accompanied by a small backfire on reduction of revs in same gear. I have plugged into diagnostics and no codes appear??
Could it be Coils?O2 sensor or Vanos??
I am at wits end and have spent a small fortune , please help.
Thanking you
Pedro.

It sounds like you have already done a lot of work. Have you checked the catalytic converter to see if there is any blockage there? I hate to say it, but this may be a problem that you need to wait till it gets worse to locate where the issue is.
