SOME TIMES MY CAR WONT BACK UP BUT IF I PUT IT ON DRIVE IT WILL MOVE FORWARD AND WHEN THE REVERSE WORKS IT MAKES A BIG KNOC WHEN I SHIFT TO REVERSE

Bad news mate, the symptoms are a strong indicator of a broken clutch pack inside the transmission, replacement or rebuilding the existing unit is probably the only way to go
