Hi Sir,

I have a BMW 316i. We just driven the car from old house to the new house, and parked in the drive way. Few days later, I tried to start the engine, the accelerator is not working, I can't push it down at all. May I know what went wrong with it? Thanks for your advise.

Regards,
Lena

this would be a linkage problem. Either the linkage at the accelerator pedal is broken/bent/bound up, or the cable that leads to the throttle on the engine is bound up on something.

First look down at the pedal and see if there's anything obvious. Next pop the hood and try working the throttle manually.

With patience you'll be able to track this down.
