We are missing something because all you need to start the engine is fuel, spark, and air all timed correctly.

So unless your timing chain broke we either have a fuel or spark issue.
If you are getting spark then I suspect we have low pressure. When you say it is good pressure, did you actually check the PSI? If so, what was it?

Also, I would suggest checking the compression to prove out it not only has compression but that the valves are opening allowing in air to be compressed. If not, then the compression will be low which means we need to look into a timing issue.
