I have an Audi tt, I changed rings, valves, timing belt etc. The gas tank had some water in it, so I drained it and cleaned it all out put new gasoline in it started it and no problem. Had it running for an hour then it just stopped.
Once I clean the water out of the gas tank that car starts but when it starts running water is getting returned back to the gas tank. Can it be the turbo or any ideas?

Are you sure all the water was cleaned from the tank, did you remove the tank to drain and clean, did you clean all fuel lines and replace filter, is the fuel cap sealing as this is the only place that water can enter the fuel system.
