ABS light comes on

what does it mean if my ABS light comes on, I hear a grinding sound when i drive and my brakes squeak when i apply them. My gas meter is also malfunctioning. It will say I have a little less than a half tank, when I am actually empty.

ABS On could be the wheel sensor, sounds like the fuel level sender is bad.
