Wanna add a cold air intake but don't know if i need to reset/change computer

I would like to add a cold air intake its a 2.8 quattro but i'm not sure if it will require changing or resetting the computer because of the different air ratio. Thanks for any help

do not reccomend changing to cold air intake. factory routing, openings are designed for the vehicle maximum performance.

adding this system will void any warranties on the engine. there will be no increase in performance as well.

a simple answer is no, you dont have to do anything with the computer.

You are not going to change the air ratio with a cold air intake. It only allows more air to go in but the throttle body etc would not so as Roy mentioned, you aren't going to get much out of it.

In the long run you are more harm than good would be the result as cold air intakes are not as finely filtered as OEM.
