Turning signals

Both turning signals of my Audi A4, 1.8, 2000 model, blink normal, then suddenly blinks faster, then normal again, etc.

Check and test the turn signal switch and flasher unit-

Try swapping the flasher unit with a known good one and see what happens-

Disregard my prior suggestions and have the vehicle electrical system control module checked located behind left side of the dash below 9 pin relay carrier
