MY CAR WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO START,THAT IS, THE STARTER MOTOR DOES NOT OPERATE WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED TO THE CRANK POSITION. GOOD BATTERY CONNECTION AND BATTERY VOLTAGE. LIGHTS OK. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SAFETY SWITCH IN P OR N MAKES NO DIFFERANCE. RECENTLY REMOVED FRONT BUMPER, HEADLAMPS,RADIATOR,AC CONDENSER ,L FENDER, HOOD, AND RADIATOR SUPPORT. DID NOT DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FOR REPAIRS. RAN BEFORE BODY REPAIRS. AFTER REASSEMBLY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TURN OVER WITH STARTER MOTOR. ACTS LIKE ANTI-THEFT LOCK OUT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

1.8T, 2.8?

Have your mechanics check the engine ground cable.... jump the starter direct to see if it cranks.

Anti Theft does not lock-out starter.

Are you using Mitchell OnDemand? Turn your caps off (indicates yelling).
