I smell coolant

at times i smell antifreezei have an 2000 acura 3.2tl when i turn the car on it makes a noise even when i turn the heater on but when i turn it off it stops at times i can smell antifreeze whts the problem

Coolant can be leaking from the heater core in the vehicle causing the smell. Can you describe the noise you hear?

Since the belt is making noise, check to see if there is any coolant leaking from the water pump and check the belt tensionier bearing to make sure it is tight and the belt is tight.
