Hi there,

The first problem is my cruise control; it was working intermittently for a while but has now completely stopped. And I mean it does not turn on at all, when the green cruise dash light has ever come on there have been no issues. It is turning it on in the first place.

I have a multi-meter but I have never used it as I am very inexperienced with electronics.

Three things come to mind for this problem which will need to be tested. First would be the brake light cut off switch, next would be the brake pedal position switch and last would be the steering wheel clock spring.

Here are some guides that will help you do the testing and give you an idea of what you are in for when doing the job:

Use these cruise control wiring diagrams to check out the problem. Also, check the fuse.

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Cheers, Ken
