replacing timing belt

How do i setup timing marks for changing timing belt?

turn crankshaft counter clockwise(as viewed from timing belt end of engine) to align the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and camshaft sprockets. Turn crankshaft an additional 1/4 turn clockwise, and then back again until timing marks align.
