Hello, recently our trunk lid lost it's hydrolic closing ability. I just ordered 2 new struts and will be replacing them as soon as they come in by mail. I saw one posting on this subject on this web site, and it is appreciated, but can anyone direct me to a source where the procedure is in step-by-step pictures? Thanks and I look forward to any response.

depending on the replacement, some just pop off with a screw driver and some require removing the mount. either way, it is a simple job.

make sure you support the lid and dont hurt yourself.
