I need to replace a hose on my Jetta. The hose is located just under the oil filler cap. It runs from the filler tube to another metal tube and is held in place by two hose clamps. what is this hose ?

Pcv hose... move the hose clamps, remove the hose and look for the part number on the hose.

If you can't find the part number, I'm sure an expert will be able to provide it.

There are a couple variations depending on which engine you have... 1.8t or 2.0l?

If in doubt, post a picture of the engine bay.

Any luck?

My advice is free... don't be scared to reply. It's also polite.
