Is the CCM on the car listed above with 2.0L engine located under the carpet on the floor or is it under the dash to the left side of the steering column? My car suddenly, just parked overnight won't turn over at all, no interior lights, no windows or door locks work, no trunk pop or sunroof. I removed ignition switch but seems okay. I thought about doing a jump button start to test it. Could it be a neutral safety switch? It is an automatic. Not start in neutral or any other position. I hear a click when turn key but I tested the plug by the starter and no power went to the starter so I don't think it is the starter. Could the CCM cause a no crank/no function issue? Need some help. Rob H.

I figured it out. Fluky thing but a guy on another site had similar symptoms where his car had no ignition and he he a broken dome light switch. Ended up being # 13 fuse that kept blowing. So replacing it did not help. Then I saw his comment on the dome light and mine broke a few months ago. Sure enough he was right, the little metal piece was still up there and it must ad finally just touched in a way that it grounded out or something. I took it out and replaced the fuse and I works now. Still glad it occurred because I tore the whole dash and ignition switch out and the CCM and learned about the car.

Unfortunately this post was from many years ago and the link he was talking about was from another site so we will not be able to find that info.

However, what he was talking about was fuse 13 in the fuse panel was blowing over and over again. They then mentioned the dome light was not working and he replaced that switch and it fixed the fuse issue and his no start issue. Meaning the switch was grounding out causing too much current on that circuit and it would blow a fuse. Clearly I would not relay on this causing your no start concern because there are many things that can cause this.

Here is what I would suggest. Let's start a new post with all your specific vehicle information and concern and we will be able to help you figure this out.
