history - prior problems with security - not letting van start and battery dying w/o cause
while driving - engine made noise - turn off and kept running - finally quit with noise (believed to be belts)
ran great prior to this
even with charged battery - no reading when plugged into diagnostic tool

Does scanner power up? read No Comm on screen? do you have a DVOM?
