Get the hose ready -locate the drainplug-open it at the same time start filling it, you stop when the old coolant clears up-close drainplug and fill it with the correct coolant till it starts over flowing-stop

IF YOU ARE DRAINING FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR

THE ENGINE WILL DRAIN ALSO

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED A GUIDE.....CHECK THIS OUT

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/2007-ford-taurus-tune-up

WHEN YOU ADD IT BACK---INSURE YOU ARE USING THE RIGHT TYPE (REG--GREEN OR THE "DEX", WHICH IS RED)

I MIX MINE OUTSIDE THE VEHICLE .......

I always install my antifreeze 70/30---70% antifreeze and 30% water--this provides the maximum Cooling and Freezing Protection!

I drain my system and MIX MY 70/30 in containers--then pour it in! (50/50 is simply mix 1/2 antifreeze w/ 1/2 waterif you can't do the math, simply mix 3 cups of water with 7 cups of antifreeze, till you run outor use smaller containers, like 3 salt shakers of water mixed with 7 salt shakers of antifreezethe percentage will be the same...no mater what!!!!then just pour it in!

Too little antifreeze, less than 50/50 can freeze--AND anything greater than 70/30 can freeze too! (pure antifreeze will freeze!!!!)

Many testers show "UNSAFE" at the bottom and at the top of their scales---the "Ball Floater Type" will say, if it floats all of the balls (too much antifreeze), it is unsafe and will freeze

No matter when it gets full---it is 70/30 completely throughout the engine----if there's any left over or if you mix more to "Top it off Later"---When you are done---it will always be 70/30

A lot of other goofballs think you can just pour in a Pure Jug of antifreeze......then fill the rest of the way with water, the mixture is perfect ....Right?????

WRONG!!!--You have no idea what your systems capacity is, even if you went to the trouble to find out, I doubt you would go thru the math trouble to get it right

.....Isn't my way FOOLPROOF AND EZ?

It would work for any vehicle, and would be COMPATIBLE with your other cars!----Just pop the cap and pour the proper mix, that you have pre-mixed, any time any one of your vehicles needs some juice!......Never guess again!

You can buy the stuff PRE-MIXED ALREADY TO 50/50BUT IT'S NEARLY TWICE AS EXPENSIVE!

Your thoughts?
