1999 Toyota Corolla over heating

Heater only works when you push gas peddle. Whensetting still it blows cold

Sounds like you have either air pockets in the system or a clogged heater core, most likely the latter.

You could try removing both heater hoses from the firewall and flush both directions with a garden hose.
