Hello there ,

I have a 1999 model toyota camry V6 , I recently had its whole automatic transmission removed and overhauled because the AT transmission had burnt clutch plates after doing so they installed everything back in place and the car is smooth as ever but there is one problem . Whenever I shift the gear from Parking to Reverse and Neutral to Reverse i feel a heavy jerk on the engine . Its like a heavy surge at the initial change in gear but runs smooth on reverse .

Please help .

Thanks a ton

Something is still not good with the transmission. Get a scan to check for trouble codes. Have the solenoids tested.
