My transmission cooling line clamp broke and I lost all of my fluid. Had it towed home and fixed the line and filled with fluid. It goes into.reverse but not drive. Did I torch the trans?

Check that ther eis no fault codes in the ecu, make sure that the oil is at the correct level, if all is good there, you well may have damaged the trans, especially if you drove it to a stop with no oil due to the leak, this what happened?
