1999 toyota 4runner rzn185, AT, which switch or sensor causes the 4wd indicating light situated in the dash to illuminate constantly in any range and location of this suspected component

there is a switch on the transfer case as well as the front diff case. There is also a module in the left kick panel. any or all of htese could be bad or giving a false message. check any or all grounds as if one or all of them aren't making good contact that can cause the problem as well.
