Just noticed today my running lights are on.

Just noticed today my running lights are on, even with the key off & the lights turned off. I am not sure how long this has been going on, the car still starts however. I have never experienced this kind of electrical issue before with a car. The lights not turning off! The headlights are off, just the running lights stay on?

The first component to be check is the daytime running lamp relay, this is if it never goes off, the power for the relay is from the daytime running light module. The relay and the module are located at the passenger side kick panel.

Check to verify the parking lamp switch on the steering column on top and just behind the steering wheel is turned off.
