My car had been sitting for 6 months before I tried to start it. The battery was dead and after trying to jump start the car, I could not get the engine to turn over. What should I do?

Turn the engine over by hand using a 22mm socket and ratchet...if it turns over through a full 360 degrees...there may be something wrong with the power supply and/or starter motor wiring.
Let me know how you go..

That is good advice from sixpack subaru. Chances are you have a corroded connection. However, his telling you to see if it turns over with a socket will idntify if the engine is locked up.
