Stalls at idle?

just a couple days ago my saturn started idling wrong first everytime i would stop it would act like it was going to stall. now its idling to high. it will go without me stepping on gas. what's the problem

Hello,

It sounds like you might have an issue with the Idle air control valve.
Many times if the IAC valve is dirty it can have an impact on the idle of the engine.
You can take the valve off and clean it. Usually that takes care of the issue.
