I heard that there is a switch for my kind of car. 5-speed makes it easier. There are only two electrical connections on the tranny. The lower one toward the back, near the axles. There is one on the top of the tranny, which is the reverse light switch. How do I disconnect it or test to see if it works. What does R&R mean?

Just to add to this r and r is remove and replace. Also check the fuse in the under hood fuse box labeld B/U thats your back up fuse.To test to see if its a bad switch is easy. The switch is the one towards the top bellow the master cylinder area. The other one is your speed sensor.Turn the key to the run position then unplug the switch jump the terminals on the connector that plugs into the switch together. You can use a paper clip if the back up lights come on bad switch.
