hi, last night my car started making a noise and i believe it could be a power steering pump, my father said it could be the water pump but the power steering fluid was bubbled up a bit, the noise sort of goes away when i accelerate but when i let off the gas and turn the wheel its really loud. any suggestions?

you sound correct. have the pump checked as it may have failed.
