My daughters 1999 Saab 9-3 Turbo just recently started to produce a noticeable vibration or tremor felt in the steering wheel during acceleration. Especially noticeable when traveling at highway speeds and while utilizing cruise control. Less of a tremor when decelerating or going at slower speeds. With this car having front wheel drive and problem more noticeable during acceleration, could the source of the vibration be in the drive train? U-joint? Tie rods? Wheel bearings? Thanks for your thoughts.

Do u feel the vibration while making right hand turns if yes then check p/s inner tri-pod bearing & bell joint, other than that check your tires too.

GET YOUR WHEELS FORCED BALANCED, A TIRE SHOP WILL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT, JUST ASK FOR YOUR WHEELS TO BE FORCED BALANCED, START THERE FIRSTLY. GOOD LUCK.

Force balancing is a good idea but you may have trouble finding many shops that have that capability.
