how do you reconnect the gas pedal linkage cant get to the inside of the casing

when doing repairs on my expansion tank i accidently move the throttle cable off of the throttle, when i press on the gas pedal to check the coolant level the linkage disengaged from the linkage dont know how to take case appart to attach it back or see if somethings broken how do you disassemble
