go to an autoparts and give the correct model of your car they will give you the correct one

I have the same question. I went to the auto parts store and they offered me a vented and non-vented gas cap for my 97 silverado 5.0. What does chevrolet require, vented or non-vented?

it shold be non vented for emiisons but an auto parts will give you tthe correct one just make sure to tighten 3clicks after fueling up
