I have a 1999 Porsche 911 with about 87000 miles. The check engine light is on. Also, the RPM drops sometimes and the car shuts off. Otherwise, runs good. Could this be caused by the fuel filter?? O2 sensor??

The check engine light being on might coincide with the RPM drop and the shut off issue, have it scanned, the report should guide the repairs.

Not likely a fuel filter ot oxygen sensor.Have the dme scanned, often times the maf sensors are faulty, fuel pump or idle control valve.
