Firebird Trans Am won't run.

I have a 1999 Firebird Trans Am. It has a really hard time starting. With a help from the gas pedal, it will start, but like 3-5 seconds after starting it, it will slowly slump down and die. What could be the problem?

Check the fuel pressure if okay, clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens

Do you think that it is the fuel pump?

To rule it out-check it with a fuel pressure tester-
