I bought a new tumbler, had a guy come to install it as he assembled it he missed a piece that locked it in place together. He slid the tumbler in & it got stuck so he drilled into the tumbler to far hoping to remove it but it got locked in their so how can I easily remove it so I can replace it with the original

What did he drill into? Is the tumbler on the steering column or dash on this year vehicle?

Not sure why he did that. The steering wheel / air bag needs to be removed to remove the tumbler properly. Is that what was done?

I don't mean to sound crazy, but I don't know how he was able to access it to replace it without removing the steering wheel.
