i bought a new tumbler, had a guy come to install it as he assembled it he missed a piece that locked it in place together....he slid the tumbler in & it got stuck so he drilled into the tumbler to far hoping to remove it but it got locked in their so how can i easily remove it so i can replace it with the original

What did he drill into? Is the tumbler on the steering column or dash on this year vehicle?

he drilled into the tumbler & it is in the steering column!!

Not sure why he did that... The steering wheel / air bag needs to be removed to remove the tumbler properly. Is that what was done?

I don't mean to sound crazy, but I don't know how he was able to access it to replace it without removing the steering wheel.

i did take out the fuse for the airbag & he removed the plastic casing around the column
