I recently got the error code P0310, along with an eggy smell from my car. We recently replaced just about everything under the hood - spark plugs, wires, coils, fuel injector, etc... And the issue was narrowed down to the converter. We have the part here, but can no longer use the garage or tools in it due to family issues. I was wondering - if I took the part to a garage, what kind of labor is involved with the replacement? I know there are plenty of honest mechanics out there, but I've been screwed over by two dishonest ones in the past, and don't want that to happen again - as in I don't want to get charged for 5 hours of labor for something that might only take 2.
