Hi,I have a 1999 pontiac grand prix gtp that has had several things go wrong but all of a sudden it stopped going into gear. I am wondering if this could only be the transmission or could it have to do with the crankshaft position sensor,oris it possible that my faulty ignition switch is suddenly effecting it?

Please help! I have put thousands into this car and I ama single disabled mom who really needs a running car.Please offer any solutions you might have.

beyond checking the fluid level, it most likely is the front pump or the torque converter in the trans that has failed. it will have to come out and be inspected
