Can I remove and replace the oil pan gasket on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4l with Auto trans without pulling the motor and do you have any instructions on how to do it?

The pan on your vehicle may require that you lift the engine. However, if I recall, on a 99 the engine doesn't need pulled. As far as removing it, it just unbolts from the engine. If you need to lift it, unbolt the motor mounts and use a floor jack on the crank pulley. Make sure to disconnect the battery before starting and remove the starter so you can gain better access to the bolts and the pan itself. Also, make sure the engine is secure when you lift it to prevent it from falling on your hands or hitting you. You should only have to lift it a few inches for clearance.
