how to replace ignition switch

i need to replace the ignition switch not the one that the key goes into but the actual part under the steering column i believe but i cant find it

The steering column has be dropped down, not out but down. The ignition switch is on the left side, top of column halfway down. There will be a rod going down the side into it. Make sure you line if up the same way the old one was when you change it.
