If the interior lite switch is turned on, the lites will stay on. Is the interior lite switch off? Under normal conditions, the courtesy lamps should fade out after 25 seconds. If a door is left open, the control for interior lites will turn off the lites after 10 minutes.

There might be a problem with control system. Check for applicable trouble codes.
