I have a 1999 plymouth voyager. When I put it in gear the tranny seems to chatter for a second then it shuts of. It idles flawlessly until I put it in gear. Changed input & out put speed sensors, tranny control module. Could a relay cause this? What would it be?

Possibly the torq. Converter is locked up.
Take wiring harness apart dry it the put di-electric greese on it.
I had this problem and this was my answer.

Have the computer scanned for trans trouble codes. As mentioned, it sounds like a bad converter.
