my 1999 plymouth voyager van is constantly killing new charged,good battery.it will run and drive for a little bit then act crazy and die(battery)had battery and alternator tested,theyre fine.Also i replaced a 9" section of wire close to altrntor,it keeps blowing a hole thru insulated wire,checked all grounds that are visible not fimiliar with locations of all on this vehicle,previous owner says never had that problem,but werent frequently driving it either, battery light wants to stay on even when batt. is full charge.please help,thanks tom

If you had not performed any trouble codes retrival, do it now to see if there are any stored i system.

Vehicle is equipped with self diagnostic system and trouble codes can be retrieved with Chrysler's Diagnostic Readout Box. Some generic scan tools might work but not all can be used.

yes,i finally got it plugged into a snap-on computor and i failed to plug in alternator harness completely,thx so much
