Giving codes for charging system volts too high, generator not switching. Feul sender volts high, was making gaugauges go haywire until I redid a ground wire ; now guages work except gas. Dont know if problem was before I put a rebuilt alternator on but now I had system tested and it shows 15.4v and alternator taken off its showing 16v. Tried adjusting belt replaced the wiring harness cap and it was a new battery.
