Have stripped the nut to the lower ball joint. Cannot fix it back onto the joint because I tried to just hammer it back on. Which stripped the formerly undamaged threads.I cannot seem to find the specific coil nut I need for this make and model at any local Pick-a-part in my area. What should I do

A Stratus and Cirrus are the same. Look for one of those and grab the entire lower control arm and nut. The ball joint is made as part of the control arm.

When you install the replacement control arm do not tighten the pivot bolt that goes through the rubber bushing until you lower the car onto the ground. Doing that will clamp it that way and put the bushing into a permanent twist when the car is at normal ride height. Set the car on the ground, bounce it a few times, then crawl underneath to tighten that bolt.
