I have a 99 olds intrigue and all of a sudden it started tapping like its not getting any oil. I still have power even with the ac on. Whats my problem?

Have you checked the oil level to make sure it's no low?

Yes its very loud! The tapping is coming the engine.

Is the taping coming from the bottom of the engine or the top of the engine?

If it just happen from one day to the next you could have low oil pressure or blockage of the oil flow to the top end.

If you find you have blockage then you would have to remove oil pan valve covers and run a small enough rod or wire thru the the oil ports to clean the ports. If the clacking is coming from under both valve covers and the noise just started from one day to the next I would check to see how much oil pressure you have first.
